If you were into BMX bikes in the 80’s like I was, you’ll appreciate this YouTube video. It shows some great street riding somewhere in Europe. I’m not familiar with the rider, Danny MacAskill, but he’s pretty amazing.

I would note that those are not BMX bikers. They are much cooler. The bikes they’re riding are sometimes called “urban assault bikes.”

Hi David,
Thanks for that clarification. I guess the urban assault bikes have come onto the scene since my BMX days. I’d like to see an outakes reel from that video. He and the bike must have taken quite a beating while filming. : )
